Weekend Venues and Holidays

Weekend venues: most  yacht cruising weekends start from one of the several harbours or rivers in the Solent. Its sheltered waters are ideal for windy, choppy  weekends. In more settled conditions we hope to sail further afield along the south coast, particularly to Poole or, with a fair wind and tide, along the Dorset Coast to Lulworth Cove and Weymouth. Occasionally, weekends are based on the East Coast or in the West Country.

3 day weekends give the opportunity, weather and tides permitting, to reach Alderney (the nearest of the Channel Islands)  or Normandy.

Holidays: Longer trips of 10 to 14 days are organised from time to time, when there is sufficient demand, and they extend the cruising range to encompass all the Channel Islands and the North Brittany coast beyond.  Foreign based sailing holidays are also an option. A place on a sailing holiday will usually require several weekends previous experience, hence, if you are interested get afloat!
