Welcome to Southampton IVC

IVC began in the 1940's, and grew to become a national network of 46 clubs. It is a non-profit making organisation that relies on the participation of members in organising events.

Southampton IVC is a thriving club with nearly 200 members from many backgrounds. We are a friendly group of young professionals, graduates and career people (single and married), aged 20, 30, 40 and above, who regularly meet every week for a variety of activities.

Members can come along, have fun and make new friends. As part of a national network, there is definately something for everyone at Southampton IVC!

Who joins?
Membership is open to people who are interested in expanding their social life, making new friends and taking part in activities within a group. The club is open to people of any age. The majority of club members are in their thirties and forties. Friendly, sociable people with a wide range of interests and a broad outlook on life.

What events do we organise?
We try to provide a programme of events that will appeal to a broad cross-section of people. Examples of some of our events are:- Pub nights....Team sports....Ten-pin bowling....Theatre....Cycle rides.... Meals out....Horse riding....Country walks....Tennis....Story telling....Comedy nights.....Badminton....Weekends away....Holidays....Games nights.... Clubbing....Cinema nights....Greyhound racing....Keep Fit....Sailing....Canoeing Skiing....Dancing.

How Much Does It Cost?
There are two rates of subscription, single and joint (a couple living at the same address) and for new members. The yearly rates are:- £29.00 - Single £39.00 - Joint.
