Edge of Wales Walk
Edge
of Wales Walk are a community group based in the Lleyn Peninsula
in North Wales who are restoring the ancient Pilgrim Way from Clynnog Fawr near
Caernarfon, to the ruined off-shore Abbey on Bardsey Island. The Pilgrim Way is
a fabulous coastal route taking in mountains, moor land, and unspoiled beaches,
and has now been renamed the Edge of Wales Walk. Along this walk they are
providing tailor-made holidays for groups, all backed up by local knowledge,
detailed maps and loan of pre-programmed GPS units, and with their own new minibus
to carry luggage and walkers wherever they wish to be.
They can design the holiday
to suit the needs and pockets of your group or those of any member who
may wish to book as an individual. You can find more information about the walk
at their website: www.edgeofwaleswalk.co.uk
Would this
be a great holiday idea for your group? If you or your group are
interested in organising an Edge of Wales Walk, then please phone Peter Hewlett. He will be able to send you
a free ten minute film on DVD which will tell you more about this special place
where walking groups are very welcome.
