Help: Logging In

If you are a member then please login to access the full system:

• Enter your username (or email address) and password in the boxes provided underneath the tabs Home, Events, Forums etc.
• Click the login button.
• You should be redirected to the same page but with a Logout button instead of the username box and login button.

If you do not have a username and password or you have forgotten either then click on forgotten password and enter your email address.

If you have difficulty logging in please note the following:

• The system may not allow you to login if you are operating behind a strict office internet policy.
• If you do not have a username please use your email address or contact webmaster@pewterers.org.uk
• If you have difficulty logging in then please contact webmaster@pewterers.org.uk with the following details:
  • The username and password you are using if you have them.
  • The type of computer e.g. PC or MAC
  • The Operating system e.g. Windows XP, 98 or OSX
  • The type of browser you are using e.g. Internet Explorer, Firefox

Help: Change Username & Password

Once logged in it is possible to change your username and password:

• Click the tab marked Membership
• Click on your name in the list of members
• In the left hand menu, click on 'Security Settings'
• Change your username and/or password
• Click Save

Please note you can also change your preferences for who is able to 'see' your contact information.

Help: Forums

Forums are like notice boards that you can use to ‘post’ messages to so that all or some  members can view them (depending on permissions e.g. the Livery will not have permission to view a Court discussion thread). A new topic will be started as a new ‘discussion thread’. Subsequent messages will then be posted under that thread, in reply to the original post.

 

The WCP Pewterers forum is to be use for ‘general’ messages which do not fit into another forum topic. If a new forum is required please request it from webmaster@pewterers.org.uk
