2005 Autumn by the River

Just a walk along from Islet Road along to Cookham across Widbrook, well worth the effort the trees and vines/creepers were great in colour the view across the Thames to Cliveden on the other side a picture in the reds and browns. Jasper the hound was with us, he throughly enjoyed the walk and did is favorite trick of rolling in STUFF in the fields.

That aside the rivewalk is a pleasure for us all, the river developments on the other hand are less so, as a community asset and for us all to enjoy continued development on the Maidenhead Flood plain is no longer an option. We have to find alternatives, and these alternative choices may not always be easy. We have to have a debate that affects us all.

Anti Social Orders

Maidenhead town centre is now a designated area where the police can tell people to move on if they are either in bad order or forming a crowd. This seems to have been introduced to combat the appaling behaviour of the Friday night crowd that have taken over the centre during the weekly end of work get together.
