The Lone Sculler
The lone skuller at the start of an arduous training
session. This shot is at the old railway bridge at Black Sluice
with a row to Anton's Goute and back. Prizes are
awarded for those that can name the rower and the event for which he is famous
in the area.
There is more than one that knows
the answer to this questions
Rower in the Mist
Training is always a time consuming
excercise sometimes though you get one of those moments that take your mind of
it. This shot along the Witham early one morning during a training session. Up
at Antons Gowte ready to turn and in the distance another rower, with the Stump
and the sun as a backdrop. Seems to make the morning.
St Neots
Boston Rowing Club being represented at St Neots. On this occassion the
weather was V hot and the crews worked hard to come up with the results.
As
with all regattas ORGANISATION is an art.
Four on Witham
This four were shot as they passed under the last bridge before the end of
the Lincoln to Boston Marathon. Can't name the
crew memory not what it was. But I can assure you that the single sculler is one
of them. Which one is the mystery.
