Getting started with the EuRA Members area
It may help to print out these instructions . Please read through these instructions and follow them CAREFULLY. Have you entered your login name and password in the box on the left? If not enter them now and click 'login'. Your login name and password were sent to you in a letter from EuRA about the new website. You need to check all your details are correct, Change your login name and password and enter your company details. 1. To check your company details: click 'My Details' (you need to be logged on to see this, look in the login/logoff box on the left). You will then see the contact details for your company. If you have an email and/or website, click on the links to check them and send yourself a test email. 2. Then click 'Edit Contact Details' (look at the top just under the Tabs). Check ALL details are correct, scrolling down to make any edits needed. Enter your 100 word (max) company description . When you have finished making changes, click the 'Save Changes' button at page bottom (or click 'reset' to cancel your changes and start again). 3. Before leaving the website for the first time you must change your login name and password. These may be a combination of letters and numbers of 6 characters or more (no spaces). For your LOGIN NAME choose something that will identify you or your company (eg fredbloggs or northernmoves or you can use your email address), the login name will be displayed in discussion Forums you take part in. For the PASSWORD choose something memorable and keep it private. 4. To change you login name and password: look for and click 'Edit Login & Security' (at the top under the Tabs). Scroll down till you see 'Login name and Password' . And enter your new words. (If you forget your login name and password or can't find it, you must telephone the EuRA head office to request a new one). For members of Both ARA and EuRA your password will login you into the members area for both EuRA and ARA. Click 'Members Area' from one of the sites and log on. To move between the members areas: look for 'My Groups' on the left panel and click it. You will shown the names of both your groups, Click on the one you want to go to. The EuRA members area is managed via www.ActivityForum.co.uk event and
membership management. Welcome to the new EuRA Website
Members, once you have logged onto the members area you will be able to view events for members as well as public events under the 'Events' tab above. You will see a list of all members, with full details under 'Membership' tab. The 'Forums' tab enables you to engage in discussions with other EuRA members on topics of mutual interest. Please ignore the 'Organisations' tab to begin with, it takes you into a list of non-EuRA groups who are using the same service. We hope you will enjoy using the site. We welcome your feedback and if you have any difficulties using the website, please let us know. Advertising on The new EuRA website
There are opportunities to advertise products and services on the new EuRA website. Browse the site to see the ad spaces. There are also some space in the members area: this column, (see sample ads above) and a space above right, (currently filled by the ActivityForum ad) plus a smaller space to the left below the logon box, are available for advertising in the members part of the site. If you wish, static or animated graphics can be prepared for your adverts by our website designers. Please contact the EuRA office for full details and prices. |
