North Hampshire's leading social club
Basingstoke & North Hampshire IVC
The Basingstoke & North Hampshire IVC was established in 1985 and is now the leading sports & social club in the North Hampshire area. We have around 60 members and organise between 15 and 20 activities per month. The club is a member of the Association of IVCs which has 47 clubs and around 6,200 members throughout England, Scotland and Wales.
Run by members ... for members
All events and activities in IVC are run by members of the club. We normally expect every member to arrange at least 2 events per year so that the task of filling the diary is spread evenly throughout the club. The club is managed by a Committee elected from the club membership at the AGM in November
Make new friends
Whether you are new to the area or just looking to meet new people, IVC is the club for high energy people to get more out of the lives. IVC is the best place to get meet new friends in your local area and from other parts of the country that share your interests.

Tuesday Clubnight - Various Pubs and Hotel Venues
Come along on a Tuesday night from 8.30pm and find out what events are being organised or use this as a chance to promote your own events to other members. This is a social event so you can arrive at any time through the evening to chat with friends and new members. There will always be at least one committee member present if you need to raise any issues. Clubnight is often used by our members to promote their events to other members and guage interest in any new event ideas.
See the clubs bulletin diary for details of venues for club nights for this month.

Involvement, Variety and Choice ... that's IVC

INVOLVEMENT ... events organised by the members
IVC encourages and supports new and established members in getting involved in the organisation of activities for the club events diary. It is the willingness of members to get involved with the arranging of events that enables the club to offer such a wide variety of activities for members to choose from. Running the club this way also means that the organising of events is spread throughout the membership and always reflects the interests of the members.
VARIETY ... the club programme reflects the members interests
Encouraging members to organise events, means the IVC can offer a varied programme of activities that is only limited by the energy and imagination of the club members. It also means you have the opportunity to take part in activities organised by other members that you may never have considered trying before.
CHOICE ... always activities to interest you
The wide variety of activities in our club programme means there should always be something to interest you. The IVC groups also share activities with Special Interest Groups that cover all IVCs. This means IVC offers you the chance to take part in events of a more specialist nature organised by members of other clubs who share the same interests.
